At least 21 dead, 15 hospitalized after bus falls into lake in Anshun in China's Guizhou Provinc
A bus carrying high school students crashed into a local reservoir in Anshun, Southwest China’s Guizhou Province on Tuesday, the first day of the college entrance exam, killing at least 21 and injuring 15.
According to Guizhou Daily, eighteen passengers from the bus have been rescued and sent to hospitals for treatment.
The number of casualties is not known, and local authorities are reportedly working to rescue more victims.
China Central Television (CCTV) reported Tuesday, the passengers included senior high school students who were about to sit the college entrance examinations, or gaokao.
