Bankrupt former glamour model Katie Price is living in a £4,250 per month six-bedroom Surrey mansion

Bankrupt Katie Price is living in a £4,250 per month six-bedroom home in Surrey with four bathrooms and a built-in gym, MailOnline reported.

The mother-of-five, 41, who's currently in isolation at her property with son Harvey, 17, relocated from her former home in West Sussex nicknamed the 'mucky mansion' before the country went into lockdown last month.

It is believed the former Loose Women star made the move to be closer to children Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, who are living with their dad and her ex-husband Peter Andre, 47, in their house just ten minutes from her new abode.

Katie's move to the six-bedroom house came four months after she was declared bankrupt following failure to repay her debts in November 2019.

A source told MailOnline: 'Up until her move last month Katie has only lived at different hotels, so she's relieved to finally have a new and semi-permanent home for her and Harvey.

'They're really enjoying being there and getting settled in – but she's still in the process of trying to renovate her previous property, which she may decide to move back to at a later date.

'At the moment building works have halted due to being in isolation and Katie's longterm plan is still up in the air until the lockdown has lifted.'

The house, which came fully furnished, boasts six bedrooms that will give each one of her children a place to stay, including her two youngest, Jett, six, and Bunny, five, who are in lockdown with her ex-Kieran Hayler, 33.

It has a large and modern kitchen complete with fridge-freezer, kitchen island and stools and dining room table which sits up to eight guests.

The living room space has a contemporary blue twist with an L shape sofa and TV setup for movie nights during lockdown.

One of the four bathrooms has a stylish freestanding bathtub that overlooks the garden and will provide Katie with the ideal place to relax.

The property even has it's own gym for the TV star to workout in which has a running machine and table tennis table.

Former glamour model Katie, who was once worth more than £40million, was made bankrupt last November after the High Court found she had failed to stick to a plan to repay her debts, estimated to be £800,000.

She was forced to give up her £2million 11-bedroom mansion a month later after signing the property over to a trustee.

The house in West Sussex, where Katie lived with her children, included a swimming pool, tennis court and horse stables.

Katie took out a second mortgage on the property in 2015, but faced monthly payments of £12,300, and is now thought to be £100,000 in arrears.

Following years of incomplete renovations the house was nicknamed the 'mucky mansion' with Katie even showcasing the extent of the mess on her reality series My Crazy Life.

My view: There is something wrong with the insolvency laws when you see some celebs still able to live in mansions. It's just not fair how the rich and famous stay wealthy post-bankruptcy while regular folks who file don’t. Millionaires don’t live hand-to-mouth before filing nor will most afterward. For ordinary people, bankruptcy means flat broke.
