Singer Tiwa Savage will not perform at the upcoming DSTV Delicious International Food & Music Festival 2019 after the barbaric butchering of Nigerians in South Africa and the destruction and looting of migrants shops.
The Nigerian superstar shared a post on social media which read: "I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this."

My view: I think DSTV should cancel the event, if they have any basic human decency. What on earth will they be celebrating, when people are getting butchered with knives/cutlasses and some burnt alive and foreigners shops being looted and destroyed, just because they are migrants, how sad is that?. Also where are some of the American celebs, who were quick to call president Trump a racist for calling the African continent a shit-hole, why are they not condemning the heinous and barbaric crimes being inflicted on foreigners in South Africa?, why are some American celebs not speaking out, they were all quick to jump at a TV news anchor who compared her colleague to a gorilla, calling for her to be fired, so what about the human beings like you, being slaughtered in South Africa, if you don't say something, then you are worse than Trump. In 2013 Donald Trump had foreseen the Xenophobia in South Africa way before it happened. South Africa is worse now than under Apartheid. And you South African celebs on Instagram must speak out, everything is not about money.
