Shirtless suspect wanted in fatal sucker-punch attack in Brooklyn

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help to track down the person who sucker-punched a 52-year-old man in Brighton Beach who died of his injuries after undergoing surgery.

Dimitry Goldfarb, 52, was found lying on the ground with severe head trauma about 6 p.m. July 9 at Riegelman Boardwalk East and Brighton Sixth Street, police said.

He was first taken to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, but was later transferred to Bellevue Hospital, where he died after head surgery, cops said.

Police released surveillance video of two people wanted for questioning — a shirtless man wearing gray shorts with a white cloth tucked in the front and a woman with a red top and black shorts.

The man — who also is seen carrying a red chair — is described as in his 30s, about 6 feet tall and 220 pounds, with long brown hair. He was wearing black sneakers.

The two people headed north on Brighton Sixth Street after the attack.

A motive for the brutal assault is not known.

My view: Why are some people so evil and wicked?. If caught, I hope he's given the harshest possible custodial sentence and, preferably be locked up with hardened criminals.
