Rihanna wears Fenty ‘Immigrant’ shirt in response to Trump on 4th July

Cosmetics and fashion mogul, Rihanna is reminding everyone that immigrants built America.
The 31-year-old singer touched down in her native Barbados on Thursday, wearing a T-shirt from her own Fenty collection with the word “Immigrant” emblazoned across the back and the word’s origin printed on the front.

The sold-out design was released as part of Rihanna's most recent Fenty launch in response to President Trump’s controversial immigration policy and the current crisis at the border.

In an interview with The Cut Rihanna said, “For me, it’s a prideful word,” . “To know that you can come from humble beginnings and just take over whatever you want to, dominate at whatever you put your mind to. The world becomes your oyster, and there’s no limit.”
She Continued the : “Wherever I go, except for Barbados, I’m an immigrant. I think people forget that a lot of times. I think they see Rihanna the brand. But I think it’s important for people to remember, if you love me, everyone out here is just like me. A million Rihannas out there, getting treated like dirt.”

My view: Rihanna is absolutely right for saying, “To know that you can come from humble beginnings and just take over whatever you want to, dominate at whatever you put your mind to. The world becomes your oyster, and there’s no limit”. Trump should stop treating immigrants like "dirt."
