How Wendy Williams' husband Kevin Hunter has been living large with his mistress Sharina Hudson,

Wendy Williams' husband Kevin Hunter has been living the high life with his mistress in a secret hideaway in New Jersey after she gave birth to their daughter, all while the TV host has been battling an addiction to alcohol and pills brought on by their affair, reported.

Williams, who is worth an estimated $60 million, decided she finally had enough and served divorce papers to her husband of nearly 22 years at her television studio on Thursday.

Hunter, 47, was seen driving a new maroon convertible Rolls-Royce on Saturday to pick up Sharina Hudson and take her out to dinner in Edgewater, New Jersey, with Hudson proudly showing off her post baby pooch after giving birth late last month.

The 33-year-old massage therapist, whose hair was freshly curled, carried a $5,200 quilted Chanel purse while wearing a chunky diamond chain necklace and diamond studs.

Hudson was seen driving her new sports car on Monday, exiting the flashy vehicle in a $1,260 Thom Browne tracksuit that showed off her post-baby body.

And Kevin has spared no expense on his own duds as well, seen one day in a $1500 Fendi vest, $490 Fendi hat, $770 Fendi pants and $515 Fendi sunglasses.

The couple have been hiding out in New Jersey weeks after Hudson was secreted away to Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia to give birth in order to avoid media attention.

Hunter has been seen at the secret hideaway chauffeuring Sharina around.

Kevin was served with divorce papers from Wendy on Thursday morning at the TV studio, according to TMZ.

Extra security was hired in case Kevin, known to have a temper, got enraged on set. But there were apparently no outbursts.

The split will most likely be contested as Hunter is an executive producer on Williams' TV show and told Hudson that he couldn't afford to split from Wendy because she paid all the bills, a source previously told DailyMailTV.

In New Jersey, parties can file fault or no-fault. Fault allows a judge to dock alimony based on the seriousness of the offense. Proving will not be hard for either side in this case.

Reasons for fault include adultery, abandonment, physical or emotional abuse, and alcohol or drug abuse.

The Wendy Williams Show said in a statement: 'Wendy and her family have been a part of Debmar-Mercury for over 10 years. We respect their privacy regarding personal matters. As always, we remain committed to bringing an entertaining and topical show to our viewers.'

A personal representative for Williams said: 'Thank you to everyone for respecting the family's privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.'

Williams filing for divorce comes after DailyMailTV revealed she had been living in a sober living home in Queens, New York, being treated for addiction to booze and prescription drugs.

Her downward spiral was sparked in December after she learned Hunter was still seeing Hudson, his mistress of more than a decade.

Hunter said, 'this just happened,' when he was asked to speak about the divorce to Radar Online. He added: 'Not speaking now.'

Meanwhile, Williams seemed to be in good spirits on her morning show on Thursday.

A source previously told DailyMailTV that Wendy was keeping her ring on during filming until she worked out what to do with Hunter, but was taking it off once outside of the studio.

They said at the time: 'Wendy is considering divorcing Kevin. She's really distraught over the situation, she knew about Sharina but didn't think a baby would arrive, she didn't think Kevin would go this far, she's lost and everyone is worried for her.'

Williams has previously discussed difficulties in her marriage on her show, saying: 'Marriages are not easy.

And don't ask me about mine until you see [my wedding ring] gone - it ain't going anywhere, not in this lifetime.'

A recently resurfaced excerpt from Williams' memoir reveals that she vowed to leave her husband if another woman had his child.

Wendy wrote in her 2001 memoir it would be one of the only things that would make her part ways from Hunter once and for all after revealing he'd already cheated on her earlier on in their relationship.

My view: This just shows how heartless some men are, imagine Kevin and his mistress flaunting exotic cars and Sharina showing off diamond jewelry and designer wears at Wendy's expense. Kevin and Sharina's relationship is not just mistress thing, she has been acting like an unofficial second wife. An ordinary mistress doesn't get expensive mansion, cars and other stuff, they have a very strong bond, even stronger than what he had with Wendy. Kevin loves Sharina more than Wendy, he only likes Wendy for fame and money. And greedy Sharina will encourage her sleeze-bag boyfriend/baby-daddy to get 50% of Wendy's money that'll last them forever and their expensive taste, so they can set up their business together. Wendy should cut off all her business dealings with Kevin, he's a control freak and he thinks that Wendy can never summon the courage to leave him, because of their son and businesses, but unfortunately for him he got the shock of his life. That's why they are both flaunting their extravagant lifestyle publicly, just to taunt Wendy. It shows that for over 10 years he didn't give a toss about Wendy.
