EX-CHIEFS RB LARRY JOHNSON SLAMS COLIN KAEPERNICK; CALLS HIM A SELL-OUT (VIDEO)

The sports world was caught completely off guard when it was announced that Colin Kaepernick, Eric Reid, and the NFL reached a settlement on the collusion case.

According to reports, the league knew Kaepernick’s lawyers had some hard evidence on them, so it was best to pay them off rather than go to trial.

A lot of celebrities had a lot to say about this situation, including former Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson.

Johnson took to social media and slammed Kaepernick for settling, even going as far to call him a sell-out.

Larry Johnson said: “If your backdrop is going to be the African American civil rights presence that it brought from the ’60s and you’re going to use that for your own causes, you don’t sell out,” Johnson said. “Now I don’t know what activist … Martin Luther King or Malcolm X … I don’t know what civil rights leader that you even saw or follow that made you even think that selling out to your oppressor or signing a deal with your oppressor was the way to go.”

Colin Kaepernick

My view: Well, the people that are criticizing Colin Kaepernick should continue from where he stopped, then when they get fired from work, they should not settle with their employer when they're offered $60-80million. For crying out loud the "oppressors" are the same people that pay their players millions, so who are they oppressing, the players or hardworking people that pay for tickets?.
