Boy, 15, kills himself after accidentally shooting dead pal, 17, as pair mucked around with gun on S

Horrifying video has emerged showing two US teenagers playing with a gun before one accidentally shot the other then turned the weapon on himself.
Devin Hodges, 15, was playing with the gun in what police described as a cramped, makeshift shed with three other teenagers when it went off killing his 17-year-old friend Chad Carless.
Hodges then called 911 and as police arrived, he was seen running between two homes in the Atlanta suburb of Lawrenceville where he then took his own life with the handgun, ABC6 reported.
"After multiple interviews with witnesses, detectives learned one of the males, Hodges, was showing the group a handgun when he accidentally fired a shot,” said Gwinnett County Police Department.

“The shot struck his friend, Carless, sitting next to him in the cramped shed.”
The boys had gathered at the shed around 3.15 p.m. on New Year’s Eve when Hodges pulled out a handgun, according to police.
Tragedy struck moments later when one of the boys was accidentally shot dead

Chad Carless was found dead by police when they arrived at the scene
The incident took place in a suburb of Atlanta
Officers who arrived at the scene found Carless dead inside the shed and then “heard a single gunshot while attempting to locate the involved parties from the initial 911 call”.
They then “located a male with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound a short distance from the makeshift shed”.
An investigation is continuing and it is unclear where Hodges got the gun from.
The Snapchat video was sent to Bralen Bennett, 15, who went to school with the two boys and woke on New Year’s Day to find they were dead, the Dailymail.com reported.
"It's is very sad. My son took classes with them and he received this video just moments before the tragedy," said his mum Rhonda.

In 2017, a five-year-old boy accidentally shot himself with a family member's gun in Florida.
Orange County Sheriff's officials said Judah Todman was found inside the family car yesterday afternoon.
The shooting occurred at 3:57pm in a car park with investigators saying the wound seems to be self-inflicted.
He was found "mortally wounded" and taken to the nearby Florida Hospital East where he was declared dead.

My view: It is sad, so what were they doing with loaded guns?, playing around, such a waste of two young lives..
