In August, Cardi B was charged with assault and reckless endangerment over a brawl at a New York strip club. Police said she threw chairs and bottles during the fight in Flushing, Queens.
It was reported the melee may have been the result of a romantic dispute over Cardi B's husband, Offset. The couple has since broken up.
At the time, her attorney said he was not aware of any evidence that Cardi B "caused anybody any harm."
She was due to appear in court for an arraignment on Monday but missed it because she was in Miami filming a music video. A judge said if she failed to show up again, he would issue an arrest warrant.
The rapper arrived at court surrounded by security. She pulled a hat over her rainbow-colored hair and waited at the security checkpoint to be scanned inside.
