On Saturday, Nigerian Prophet Odumeje’s lavish birthday party went viral on social media.

In the footage you can see some of his guests and church members looked on, as the Prophet is being sprayed with money.

The birthday bash was held at his church auditorim in Onitsha, Anambra State and he's seen in the video singing as some of his church members splashed wads of cash, as they dance to his music

According to reports, the prophet is not new to controversies. Last year, the pastor who is also a gospel musician, was filmed throwing cash including dollars at the people while standing in his exotic BMW. jeep as he performed.

My view: The pastor is living big, showing off his wealth, sprayed with wads of cash in a country where millions are jobless, they can't even afford a meal, no Income Support from Buhari's heartless government and yet you have a flamboyant pastor celebrating his birthday, there's just no social and economic justice in that country. Why don't these flashy pastors advice the Nigerian government to implement unemployment benefit. Churches in Nigeria should fight poverty, some pastors just want to drive flashy cars, live in mansions and travel round the world.
