Kitchen worker 'stabs colleague with seven-inch-knife' at Sony headquarters
A suspected knifeman has been arrested after ‘stabbing a man with a kitchen knife in the Sony headquarters’.
Workers were ‘cowering’ under tables as armed police descended on the office in Derry Street, Kensington, shortly after 11am.
A witness said the suspect attacked a fellow kitchen worker with a 7-inch kitchen knife.
Footage taken by Metro.co.uk shows a man being led away in handcuffs from the west London building.
Scotland Yard later confirmed he was arrested and two people were injured in the attack, although their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Armed officers evacuated more than 100 workers through the back door, and took them all to a safety zone in a nearby residential square.
A worker inside the building tweeted shortly after 11am: ‘Under tables in a locked office in the Sony building and there’s banging and screaming downstairs. Freaking out!!!’

‘Two people have suffered stab injuries – their conditions are not life-threatening or life-changing. One person has been arrested.
‘No evidence of any firearms involved in this incident.
It is not being treated as terror related. Officers remain on scene and the incident remains ongoing.’
