Pregnant Meghan Markle wears £10,000 Oscar de la Renta gown as she and Prince Harry arrive at a Sydn

Meghan Markle was today given a toy wombat for the royal baby she is expecting with Prince Harry next spring as they attended a glamorous awards ceremony in Sydney.
The Duchess, who was wearing a £10,000 Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress, clutched the toy as she left the ballroom with Harry after attending the Australian Geographic Society gala awards at the Shanghai-La hotel.

The couple were greeted with a huge round of applause when they entered the ballroom of Sydney's Shangri-La Hotel just after 8.15pm.
MC for the event was broadcaster Ray Martin who gently reminded the audience not to take any photos of the royals.
"Please don't try and approach them, they're not the Kardashians," he said, prompting much laughter.

My view: We now know that Meg will return her £10k Oscar de la renta, as she doesn't remove the price tag, since she's promoting the brand, but royals are not allowed to promote fashion brand by accepting freebies, so why is Meghan promoting some outfits, if she's not paying for them?.
