Joe Biden becomes latest bomb target

A suspicious device addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden was found Thursday at a postal facility in Delaware, according to reports.
The package — which was intercepted at the facility in New Castle — was similar to the ones that were sent to several top Democrats and CNN, according to NBC News Philadelphia.
Federal law enforcement authorities looking into the possibility of an explosive device addressed to Biden swept his Delaware home Wednesday but nothing was found, NY Post reported.
The package addressed to Biden — the ninth this week — was discovered as a device was removed from a Lower Manhattan property belonging to Robert De Niro.
Investigators could be seen early Thursday at the US Postal Service facility along Quigley Boulevard in New Castle, where the bomb squad deployed a robot.
Police also closed roads around the Lancaster Avenue post office in Wilmington as they investigated a suspicious package. It was unclear whether that response was related to the one in New Castle, the news outlet reported.
Other packages were mailed to offices and homes of prominent Democrats and public figures, including one sent to the CNN offices in Manhattan that was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan.
Packages addressed to Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, billionaire George Soros, ex-Attorney General Eric Holder and Rep. Maxine Waters all appear to have the same characteristics.
