Stunning Jennifer Lopez's 2018 AMA performance brought the house down

Jennifer Lopez showed the world once again that she is "Limitless," when performing her new single at Tuesday's American Music Awards.

The 49-year-old singer was introduced on stage by co-star for the rom-com, Vanessa Hudgens describing her as "the legend," and Jennifer didn't disapoint as she belted out the track from her upcoming movie, "Second Act" hitting theaters in December.

Lopez wore a silver sparkly outfit, as she worked the stage with the help of some dancers.

She shared a clip of her performance and series of pictures with her 80 million Instagram followers, and captioned, "We breathed life and energy into #Limitless tonight", "so grateful for you and happy you’re enjoying the song...something so special happens when we come together...I felt it tonight and I hope you felt it too, love to you all!

She added: "THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!."

Jennifer told Access, "if you get inspired (after seeing the movie), just write me something"

Lopez also talked about her motivation for wanting a song for the movie, explaining: "People need a feeling that we can make things happen."
