US first lady Melania Trump arrives in Ghana for solo Africa trip

Melania Trump, 48, arrived in Ghana on Tuesday morning, beaming with smile as she stepped off her plane for her first solo international trip.
The first lady looked fabulous in a $2000 burgundy-and-white-striped custom Celine shirt dress and a pair of $625 white heels from Manolo Blahnik.

After stepping onto the tarmac, Melania was welcomed by Ghana's first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo; they shook hands and spoke for a few minutes.

According to the BBC, from the airport Melania was taken to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, where she watched babies being weighed as part of a local program funded by USAid that aims to improve nutrition in young children; at the hospital the babies are placed in sacks that are hung from a hook attached to a scale.
