Kate Middleton makes her comeback to royal duties after maternity leave - wearing £30 Zara jeans and

The Duchess of Cambridge seen as she cuddles schoolchildren who gave her a warm welcome back from maternity leave as she visits the Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden at Paddington Recreation Ground in West London.

Kate opted for a casual look for her first official duty, wearing Zara skinny jeans, a grey jumper and a £175 khaki jacket from stylish Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven.

The mother-of-three completed the ensemble with a £395 silk shirt from Joseph and Penelope Chilvers £475 knee-high boots that she's had for over a decade.

The project gives inner city children a unique opportunity to learn about and engage with the natural world, something many rarely get the chance to do, and Kate was eager to help children search for spiders and other 'mini beasts' during the visit, Daily Mail reported.

My view: Kate is natural with kids, being a mother herself. As for her outfits, I think she's saving money by wearing same boots she's had for 14 years, unlike Meghan, who wore a £3,232.37 complete ens emble for children charity Wellchild Awards. Well Meghan gave up her career to be with her Prince.
