Cardi B shows off her post baby body as she leads performances at Global Citizen Festival in New Yor
Cardi B showcased her first major performance in America since giving birth less than 3 months ago, even though she say she was nervous and sweaty ... but she nailed it.
The new mom is one of the co-headliners at Saturday's Global Citizen Festival in Central Park. Cardi stepped on the stage looking fabulous in all red, but told the crowd she was having a nervous breakdown.
Maybe she was just joking, but either way ... she performed like a pro and was able to hold her nerves.

Other artists that performed include The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monae, Janet Jackson and John Legend.
She performed last week at the Paris Fashion Week for Etam Spring/Summer show but this was her first big concert in the U.S. since she had daughter, Kulture, in July.
Cardi is set to continue her full time comeback with her first awards show performance ... on Oct. 9 at the 2018
Some fans have been slamming the rapper for performing at the Global Citizen Festival since she dropped out of Bruno Mars' tour due to being a new mother, but she defended her decision to bail out and said touring is a lot different than one-time shows.
Cardi says ... Saturday's show is all about changing the world.
