APC’ll win landslide in 2019 polls – President Buhari

Culled from Vanguard

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Daura, Katsina State said there was enough evidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC will win landslide in the 2019 general elections, Vanguard reported.

Buhari also said his trekking for 800 meters was neither to make cheap political gain nor was it to show his fitness ahead of 2019 even as he said that more Nigerians were appreciative of the implementation of policies and projects of the Federal Government aimed at improving the standard of living in the country.

On the 2019 elections, the President said already the indication to that effect was the governorship election in Ekiti state and the bye elections for the seats in Bauchi, Katsina and Kogi States.

Speaking when he received representatives of the 34 Chairmen of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Katsina State, President Buhari said it was only the blind that would not see the signs of victory for the APC.

A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,, Malam Garba Shehu stated that the President said the victories recorded by the APC in bye-elections in Bauchi, Katsina and Kogi were sufficient proof that 2019 elections will be won by the party.

According to him, “coming against the backdrop of the victory in Ekiti governorship election, the string of victory by our party, the APC, is a clear indication of the way things will go in 2019. “For those who are discerning; those who have ears and eyes they will see, hear and understand.

Those who don’t understand are entitled to their mistaken assumptions.” President Buhari therefore, emphasized that the victories in the recent polls were indeed “the sign of things to come.”

He thanked the leaders of the association for paying Sallah homage to him and for their message of congratulations on the performance of the party and the administration, assuring them that he would continue to do his best for the nation.

Speaking on behalf of the members, the Chairman of ALGON in the State, Alhaji Mohammed Na’Allah, expressed their support and commitment to the success of the Buhari Administration.

My view: Well he's right because the only opposition to Buhari are the notorious looters PDP, they looted Nigeria dry and forgot ordinary people during Goodluck Jonathan's very corrupt administration. Buhari's party APC is the same as PDP, but not as brutal when it comes to corruption, they're all stealing and still getting paid their monthly wages while millions of jobless Nigerians have no Income and Housing Support from Buhari's heartless government. Until Buhari and his cabal introduce Unemployment/Job-Seekers Allowance, then suffering and helpless Nigerians would feel the positive impact of his government. It's sad that Nigerian lawmakers and president Buhari continue to ignore the Income Support Bill, you're all wicked, greedy and selfish. Just watch the video and see the crowd cheering Buhari in his home town, 90% of them are unemployed and have no Income Support and yet they're all cheering him as they have been brainwashed that Buhari is the messiah, while he's doing absolutely nothing to relieve their suffering and alleviate poverty. There's no Social and Economic justice in Nigeria. It's either you have a job or you starve. PDP is bad news- just not good, worse than APC, but they are both looters. I don't get why Buhari is so proud to announce that he did 800 meters trek, maybe he should ask millions of Nigerian children living in poverty often walk miles to get to school, it can take them more than an hour to walk to school, often on an empty stomach, he should be ashamed of himself and his wicked government. APC is still better than PDP.
