Officers had been to her condo on Saturday investigating a possible robbery – but it wasn’t immediately clear if that crime had anything to do with Carlin-Kraft’s death, law enforcement sources told WTXF-TV.
An autopsy has been performed and the coroner ruled the model’s death a homicide caused by “ligature strangulation,” the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
Police and prosecutors didn’t immediately disclose a possible motive for the slaying. But the Montgomery County DA said: “There does not appear to be any current concern for residents in the area.”
Back in March, 2016, Carlin-Kraft got into a tussle with the manager of The Smith restaurant in the Upper West Side in a dispute over the bill.
She was initially charged with misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment. But the complaint was dismissed as long as Carlin-Kraft kept out of trouble for six months.
