NICKI MINAJ SLAMMED FOR SAYING- 'I AM THE NEW HARRIET TUBMAN'
Rapper Nicki Minaj isn't just comparing herself to Harriet Tubman -- she's now saying she IS Harriet Tubman ... just new and improved.
Nicki told TMZ that, .. "I am the new Harriet Tubman." as she was leaving her hotel Monday night on her way to the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall.
Some Twitter fans were furious Nicki insinuated she was in the same league as Harriet, although Nicki never explicitly compared herself to the civil rights icon. Until now. TMZ photog has her on camera saying it straight-up ... "I am the new Harriet Tubman."
In the footage TMZ press her to make sure she knew what she's saying, and the implications of her remarks -- which are certainly shocking. She pushes right back, insisting she is the next Harriet Tubman.

My view: Nicki Minaj is just desperate for attention and she'll do and say the most outrageous things to get maximum media coverage. I don't like her outfit but her butt looks good if they're real, they look real though, but the dress looks trashy and not nice for a superstar, her stage costume looked fabulous. Why downgrade yourself when you say you're a Queen.
