Police officer who raped a baby is jailed after being caught by his colleagues

A police officer has been jailed for 16 years for raping a baby then sending the video to other paedophiles, Metro reported.

PC Dean Roberts, 48, was caught out by colleagues when they arrested another child abuser and found footage on his phone sent by Roberts. The footage showed him abusing the ‘helpless’ infant.

Cardiff Crown Court heard the pair planned to jointly abuse children and would share footage of their crimes.

Roberts, a former officer with South Wales Police, admitted rape, sexual assault of a child, possessing and distributing indecent images of children.

The mother of Roberts’ victim told the court: ‘I can never forget the knock on my door and my whole world just falling apart. ‘It was just like being hit by a bus.

We will always have to live with the consequences.’ Judge Recorder of Cardiff Eleri Rees QC, handed Roberts a 16-year extended sentence and told him he must serve at least 12 years behind bars.

She said: ‘The victim was particularly vulnerable because of her extremely young age.

My view: Such a disgusting man, raping that helpless an innocent child. He's so depraved that anything and anyone that's a female is an object . Men like this believe that women are all the same , young, old and babies , they all have the same female features, and they go for a very easy target. That's why it's sad and shameful when some celebrities pose naked on social media and display their private parts to the world, and then turn around and say it's women empowerment, it makes perverts like this ex policeman, to perceive all females as an object. I wonder when Instagram will ban celebrities from showcasing their naked pictures online, it's disgraceful, if you really want to help #Me Too movement, ban naked pictures on Instagram.
