Philippines president watches as supercars worth more than £4m are CRUSHED by bulldozer as millions

More than £4m worth of exotic-cars were run-over by a bulldozer after the Philippines president orders destruction of 68 luxury cars a in a smuggling crackdown.
Rodrigo Duterte watched as the seized luxury cars were crushed as part of a smuggling crackdown.
According to reports at least 75 luxury cars were seized by customs officials, including Lamborghinis, Porsches, Mustangs and motorbikes were crushed as president Rodrigo Duterte cheered.

Rodrigo Duterte is known for his tough anti-crime policies. The Philippines president said the destruction was meant to show the country as a place of investment and his strong stance against illegal importers.
Duterte inspected the supercars before they were destroyed in the town of Sta Ana in the north of the country.

Duterte said: "I did this because you have to show to the world that you have a viable place of investment and business.
"And the only way to show it is that you are productive and that you have the economy, to absorb the productivity of the population."
