Taxi driver dumps unconscious man in the street then drives off and leaves him

A black cab driver is being hunted by police after he pulled an unconscious man out of his cab then drove off.

Quarter of an hour later he then returned to the scene and spoke to police but failed to mention that he’d been in his vehicle.

Footage shows the man hit his head while being dragged by his feet from the vehicle then left in the middle of the road at 6.01am on May 16.

City of London Police have issued CCTV footage in a bid to find the driver and anyone who witnessed what happened.

An off-duty police officer found the victim in the road and called the ambulance service who took him to hospital.

PC Christopher Hook said: ‘We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident in May.

To forcibly move a vulnerable person from your taxi and to leave them lying in the middle of the road is appalling and we need to find the man that did this.

‘If you have any information on this incident, please call us on 0207 601 2222 and quote the reference number 2403.’

My view: The cab driver is so evil and wicked, that's London cabbies for you, they think they own the road I hope his taxi licence is revoked.
