Four-week-old baby girl found safe after carjackers drove off with her
A four-week-old baby girl has bee found safe after carjackers drove off with her in the back of an Audi, Metro reported.
Police said she was left at a health centre, after they put out a desperate appeal to find her.
‘She will shortly be re-united with her mother who has been taken to hospital after sustaining leg injuries in the car-jacking,’ a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.
The car was stolen from Marie Drive in Acocks Green, Birmingham, at around 4pm.
Dozens of police were scrambled to the scene and were trying to locate the stolen Audi A3, which is believed to have driven off in the direction of Solihull.
West Midlands Police tweeted from their @WMPBreaking account: ‘Dozens of officers are currently responding to a car-jacking in Acocks Green where a 4-week-old baby girl was still in a car seat in the back.
