TMZ reports that, Meghan Markle's father wants some attention, or at least an acknowledgement, from the Royal Family ... and he's not going to shut up until he gets it.
Thomas Markle told TMZ ... he's unfazed by news his Duchess daughter and Prince Harry are reportedly frustrated about his recent paid interview with The Sun, because he just wants to be involved in their lives.
He says, "I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story. Apparently that interview put the Royal Family in their silence mode ... so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me.”
Thomas believes the silent treatment from the Palace is silly, wishful thinking on their part that he'll just go away. He insists that's not happening -- and he just wants to be in contact with Meghan, TMZ reported.
According to TMZ, he's staying a little optimistic ... "Tomorrow is my birthday, 74 years old, and I’m enjoying the fact that I can make the entire Royal Family not speak and maybe I can get a laugh out of the Duchess."

Meghan's outspoken half-sister Samantha has also lashed out at Prince Harry's wife again, this time saying if their father Thomas Markle dies, 'it's on you Meg'.
Samantha Markle launched into a brutal Twitter tirade on Tuesday night, hours after her father Thomas told TMZ he wouldn't stop talking to the media until Meghan accepted him back into her life.
Samantha took aim at Meghan and Prince Harry's visit to the Nelson Mandela centenary exhibition in London earlier on Tuesday, telling her: 'How about you pay tribute to your own father?! Enough is enough'.
'Act like a humanitarian, act like a woman,' she wrote, adding: 'If our father dies, it's on you Meg'.

My view: Meghan's family will never go away, because they're her family whether anyone likes it or not and she's their ATM (cash machine) right now, Prince Harry should realise that he's not only married to Meghan but her entire family, because of his high profile status, ignoring them will only make it worse, I think Meghan should now start to spread the humanitarian love she's showing the world to her own family, she should start with them first for her to be credible, as she can't go about preaching love to others whileher father is being snubbed by her, if you respect your father, no matter how poor he is or his appearance looks, then other people will respect him, you don't treat your father with great disrespect and expect your husband to respect him, and I'm sure some people look at you as a joke for going round to visit an art work but you can't pick up your phone to call your father, it shows that you're not a real feminist, not proud of your roots and you're not a good humanitarian at heart. Charity begins at home, you should learn how to forgive, what kind of milk is your breast milk made of, is it that of snake vernom? that you can't forgive your father, who paid for your school fees and loves you, the old pictures are there to prove it, it's really sad.
