Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Royal summer party for Young Leaders as they are back to holding h

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a reception in London for young people from around the Commonwealth — including a group from those countries they will visit in the fall: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

Meghan wore a canary yellow dress, a form fitting shift dress, by an American designer the outfit had a cooperate-look.

The Duchess of Sussex completed her look with a pair nude shoes and diamond earrings, as well as her engagement ring.

The bright yellow dress was by Brandon Maxwell, a designer who has dressed Lady Gaga before.

The dress costs $1495 or £1129.85.

Her earrings were from Adina Reyter, a fine jewellery brand from Los Angeles, CA, Express reported.

Meghan's diamond earrings cost $498 or £376.36, and for her footwear, Meghan wore a pair of nude Manlo Blahnik BB heels, which cost $625 or £472.34.

This brings the total cost of the Duchess' look to $2818 or £2129.70.

The occasion was hosted by Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland, and marked the the culmination of the Commonwealth Secretariat's youth leadership workshop

During the evening Meghan and Harry chatted to the participants, hearing the ideas of individuals hailing from all around the world, Express reported.

So why was it okay to display PDA to The Queen's Young Leaders, but not at last week's function? It may have to do with how formal the engagement was. The Queen's Young Leaders Awards at Buckingham Palace "was a formal reception honoring young people from across the Commonwealth," royal commentator Victoria Arbiter previously explained to "As such it was not the appropriate forum for Harry and Meghan to be laying on the PDA."

"There will of course be engagements in the future in which hand holding and affection is perfectly acceptable, but [at the awards ceremony], in the presence of the Queen, the couple showed the dignity and respect such an occasion affords," Arbiter added.

My view: The elite media don't want to criticize Meghan's spending habit, so they kind of find a way around their headlines to make the Duchess come across as a spendthrift, wearing very expensive outfits, well she's enjoying the sacrifices she has made by marrying Prince Harry, Meghan gave up so much to be a Royal, and the most important one is her freedom of speech as a feminist and a political critic or activist. So I don't really blame her if she's spending money like there's no tomorrow, if they want Meghan to spend her own money they should allow her to run her clothing line she closed down because of Harry. Meghan appears to be eating well now, as she looks good, maybe she's pregnant according to what her father Thomas Markle said in his recent interview. One thing you can't take away from Meghan is her acting, as she's still acting for the camera, with her staged PDA, it's boring now, even her husband Prince Harry appears to be bored with the 36-year-old childish and forced. behaviour. Meghan grow up and stop acting for the camera, you're not a teenager, you'll turn 37 next month and 40 in three years. Her yellow dress is too simple and looks cheap for the huge price she paid for the dress, she can get something better at LK Bennett and other top high street brand for £300 or less.
