Four people stabbed at music festival with two airlifted to hospital
Four people were stabbed in one night at a music festival in London yesterday, Metro reported.
According to reports, the air ambulance was called out to take two men, aged 22 and 26, to hospital.
A third man made his own way to hospital after being stabbed and another men was treated at the scene.
Thousands of people were at Hainault Country Forest for the Garage Nation festival in Chigwell yesterday. A witness described one stabbing as the ‘scariest’ thing she has ever seen.
Mel Dee tweeted: ‘Just saw someone get stabbed right in front of me at garage nation.
‘I’ve never seen anything like it. Why do people do this? It was honestly the scariest thing I’ve ever witnessed.
‘He got cut so deep I could see like the layers of his skin it was so bad.’
A spokesman for the Met Police said: ‘Police were called at 7.35pm on Saturday, 30 June to Hainault Forest Country Park to reports of a number of stabbings at a festival.
‘Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.’
‘At this stage, it is believed that all four men were injured in a single incident.
‘There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.’
