Naked man dies falling from flat onto World Cup fans in Moscow
A naked man has died falling from a sixth floor flat onto a crowd of Argentina fans in Moscow.
He injured two of the South Americans, one with serious neck injuries, the other with a leg wound.
While three others were knocked to the ground by the impact.
‘They were toppled like bowling pins,’ said an eyewitness. The fans were walking back to their hostel in Vasilyevskaya Street when the naked man ‘fell right on top of them’ after their team’s 1-1 draw with Iceland.
Locals had seen the young man standing on the ledge before the accident. He ‘swore and made rude gestures’, it was reported.
‘The moment the group of fans walked under the window, he lost his balance and fell,’ reported one account.
Paramedics rushed the injured fans and the Russian man to hospital.
The man died in intensive care, according to Russian reports.
The Argentinians had ‘multiple injuries’ but were hopeful of being released from hospital before their country’s next World Cup game.
