Love Island: Viewers shocked by the state of girls' dressing room after just NINE days in the vi

There are current 15 islanders living together in the Mallorcan villa, sharing just one bedroom and bathroom between themselves.

And it seems cleanliness isn't high on the list of the Love Island stars' priorities since the girls' dressing room is looking like a bombsite after just nine days.

Fans have been taking to Twitter to express their disgust at the lack of hygiene, joking that the mess is making it difficult to watch the ITV2 reality show.

The stools positioned around the vanity table are no longer visible due to piles of clothes, with the girls choosing to stand up to do their make-up instead of tidying up.

Sharing a meme of clean freak Monica Gellar from Friends, one viewer posted: 'Can someone tell the girls on #LoveIsland to tidy up the dressing room. Mingers.'

Another joked, 'The state of the girls dressing room give me major anxiety. #LoveIsland', while a thrird posted, 'The state of the dressing room on Love Island is giving me the heebie jeebies'.

Meanwhile, a former Love Island contestant has been spilling the beans about the secrets behind the TV phenomenon, revealing the little known fact that contestants are allowed to leave the villa once a week.

Chris Williamson, who appeared in the first series of the hit show but failed to make a romantic connection with anyone, has been speaking on his Modern Wisdom podcast.

He said: 'Once a week we were allowed to leave the villa and weren't filmed so none of the viewers would ever know.

'There was a day every week when footage wasn't needed, which was liberating as you could talk about anything.'

My view: I couldn't agree more with Piers Morgan, who said they're“the most stupid people in the world”. just fame hungry pack.
