BRITISH WOMAN BLASTS STELLA McCARTNEY'S AFRICAN ANKARA PRINTS OUTFITS AS HUGELY OVERPRICED AND R

British designer Stella McCartney, is being slammed over her African ankara Summer/Spring 2018 collection as hugely over-priced.

The brand infused ankara designs into their new collection to create dresses, jumpsuits and tops, that look a lot like what women from Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and other African countries wear casually around the house or to run errands. And Stella McCartney's ensembles are hugely over-priced. Many of these outfits could very easily be sewn by your local tailor in, Lagos, Dar es Salaam, Dakar or Accra for less than a quarter of the cost.

Stella McCartney ,who showed her collection in Paris Fashion Week in October, has been accused of cultural appropriation after showing Ankara prints at but just one African model

£620

My view: The Ankara outfits are not worth the price , I'll not buy any of them for £100, it's complete rip off and they look cheap.
