The Spice Girls reuniting to work on 'new opportunities' as Victoria Beckham only agreed to

The Spice Girls have confirmed they are planning to work on new projects, after meeting for the first time since 2012.

It comes after Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm were pictured together at Horner's house in Hertfordshire.

"The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together," they said in a statement.

Their first single Wannabe made them household name in 1996 and they split up six years later.

The five members - nicknamed Posh, Ginger, Baby, Scary and Sporty - were accompanied at the meeting by their former manager Simon Fuller.

In a statement they released on Friday, the group said: "We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together.

"We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls.

"We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

Victoria has long ruled-out a Spice Girls reunion.

So her shocking u-turn has raised eyebrows among pundits and her fans.

The mother of four known, as Posh Spice, suprised fans when she agreed to unite with ex-bandmates Geri Horner, Melanie C, Mel B and Emma Bunton on Friday.

And, now, many of them are saying it's purely based on money.

The Spice Girls Confirm plans to work together on new projects - and that it'll be all about Girl Power.

According to reports in the Daily Star , Victoria, 42, has only agreed to partake in the lucrative revival in order to help her loss-making fashion business.

Specifically, it is reported that she's been forced to raise extra funds after husband David Beckham refused to bail-out her label with any more of his money.

It comes after he spent millions balancing the books after her company made an £8.4million loss in 2017.

Now, he has reportedly refused to help with his money and insisted she reunites with the Spice Girls.

My view: Victoria Beckham is back with her bandmates because she wants to fund her alleged ailing fashion business that recorded a total £8.4million loss in 2017. The problem with her fashion line is that, they're too expensive and out of the reach of millions of her fans, I don't understand how she expect her followers to buy a skirt for over a £1,000 and a checked mini skirt for £101 now reduced to £94, whe you can get a very good quality from top high street shops for £36. She'll make more money if she makes her stuff for ordinary people, as they cannot afford her bags that sells for thousands, she should learn from PDiddy, Kanye West and Jay-Z, they make millions yearly, because their fans and followers can afford their products not just celebs.
