NIGERIANS PRAISE SUPER EAGLES DESPITE DRAW AS THEY MOVE CLOSER TO WORLD CUP AS NOTHING GOOD COMES EA

Nigeria survived a late Cameroon fire to raw 1-1 in Yaounde Monday and move closer to qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Moses Simon put Nigeria ahead on 30 minutes and substitute Vincent Aboubakar equalised from a 75th-minute penalty.

Unbeaten leaders Nigeria moved to 10 points from four matches in Group B and if they win at home over Zambia on October 7 it will clinch them a sixth World Cup appearance.

Despite the draw in Yaounde, Nigerians praised the Super Eagles for their efforts as they maintain their spot at the summit of the Group B which has Algeria and Zambia.
