Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has no idea when he'll be able to play after fractured eye

Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus has revealed the extent of his eye injury and the conversation he had with Nicolas Otamendi after fracturing his socket on Friday.

He was forced off on a stretcher as Argentina beat Brazil 1-0 in an international friendly in Melbourne, Australia

The Man City forward spoke out about the extent of his injury in an interview with SporTV on Monday, and revealed the subsequent conversation he had with Otamendi.

"There was no bad intention. It was a very normal challenge, it was not deliberate," the Brazilian told reporters.

"His arm came down in a normal way and unfortunately I was on my way up. We were shocked. But there were no bad intentions on his part.

"We talked afterwards in the dressing room and he sent me a message. He is a good guy.

"These things are part of the game and he did not do anything bad.

"We do not know the exact extent yet, but it is nothing to worry about.

"If I have to undergo surgery, then so be it. After my holiday, I will return to Manchester at 100 per cent."
