TOTTENHAM SUPERSTAR HARRY KANE WILL CAPTAIN ENGLAND IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER AGAINST SCOTLAND TO COMPL
The Spurs striker will captain England against Scotland today — and could land the job full-time.
Harry Kane is set to play his first game for England manager Gareth Southgate at Glasgow’s Hampden Park after missing the last six internationals through injury.
The England manager said: “His mentality is excellent. He has a very good view of the game.
“He’s keen to lead. We have different types of leaders in this group — Harry is prepared to do that.
“I’ve worked with him at the Under-21s and I know his mentality. He wants to be one of the best in the world.
