Nigeria: Dammy Krane allegedly arrested in U.S over theft as EFCC shades him

Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has allegedly been arrested in the United States over alleged theft of credit card and a car, reports not yet very confirmed say, claimed the singer whose real name is Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel was arrested alongside another Nigerian, Ilochonwu Chukwuebuka Gabriel in Dade County, Miami and was equally detained for identity theft.

According to Instablog9ja the singer who is currently based in the United States was booked June 2, and is still in jail pending when he meets up with the bail requirements.

In a tweet warning Nigerian youth, the The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advance fee fraud (419 fraud) and money laundering.

EFCC wrote: "Ladies and gentlemen please do not mortgage your future in exchange for transient thrill of ostentatious display #EmbraceYourTruth"

Dammy Krane left 2baba Idibia’s Hypertek Digital, the record label where he released his hit songs, including ‘Incasity’ and ‘Kalamity’, for Davido’s DMW just few weeks ago.

Krane got signed to 2baba’s label in 2012, when he was only 20, and left for Davido’s label in September 2016.

However, no official statement has been issued from his record label and manager

But, a police mugshot of the singer's face was posted on social media

My opinion: Most importantly what Danny Krane allegedly did was wrong, if at all he did, that aside.

How can EFCC look at themselves in the mirror and advise Nigerians to #"EmbraceYourTruth", when successive Nigerian Government did not put in in place Income/Housing Benefit Support, to help millions of jobless, vulnerable and disabled people, there is no Student loan for University Undergraduates and there is no support for single mothers.

Now tell me EFCC what kind of a country is that? where you have Serving politicians, Senators, House Of Rep Members, Ministers, some Police officers, some Judges, past and current President looting and are corrupt. And some of them looted in billions (hard currency) What have you done to them?

Also tell that to the 12-year-old child that lives and gave birth in a dumpster, the mentally challenged woman that lives and gave birth on the roadside in Asaba, tell that to TRAGIC Joy Odama's family who was allegedly MURDERED by corrupt Alhaji Usman ADAMU IN Abuja, and the Police are helping to cover it up, tell that to DESPERATE young-men who turned to Armed Robbery and are mercilessly beaten and burnt to death as there is no hope and support for them, in a country where their selfish leaders are just GRABBING for themselves and their family, tell the Chemical Engineering Graduate who wanted to commit suicide because he couldn't get a job and no help from the USELESS and POINTLESS Government OF CLUELESS Buhari and Osinbajo.

Buhari is pretending not to be corrupt, a HYPOCRITE who doesn't practice what he preach, a complete laughing stock, he has become world JOKE, who can't buy his own product at home but travel to London to get the best treatment while a 12-year-old child lives and gave birth in a dumpster and a mentally challenged woman lives and gave birth on a roadside in Asaba.

Tell me if that is not corruption.

Any Leader who cannot take care of the desperate needs of his fellow countrymen and women, but only takes care of himself and his family is corrupt.

Buhari paid millions for his children to get the best education money can buy in the UK while millions of Nigerian children don't know when, where and how they will get their next meal.

So EFCC please take a long good look at yourselves in the mirror then you'll know where exactly you need to direct your advice to.

You don't just need to only recover ill-gotten gains , you also have the moral obligation to advise clueless Acting President Osinbajo to put in place Income/Housing Benefit Support for unemployed and vulnerable citizens.
