The campaigning work of LGBT stars such as Caitlyn Jenner, Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui, presenter Clare Balding, and diver Tom Daley were recognised by the 2017 British awards.

Former Olympian and transgender star Caitlyn Jenner picked up the 'Loud and Proud' award. She has been using her platform to campaign for trans rights.
