Jennifer Lopez gushes over 'supportive' new squeeze Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez as she jo
Jennifer Lopez said that her friends refer to her and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez with playful nickname 'J-Rod' - implying their relationship is only going from strength to strength.

The 47-year-old singeradmitted at the Billboard Latin Music awards on Thursday that she and the sportsman, 41, are comfortable with the public referring to their romance with the name, as their friends have been using it for some time.
Jennifer admitted she is very proud of her second Spanish language album, set for release this year, and went on to gush that her boyfriend had been 'very supportive' about the project.
She said shyly at the awards: 'Alex loves it. I'm so excited, you know, every time I finish something, I bring it home and I want him to hear it'.
'He's so supportive. He's such a supportive person and he's so lovely.'
Jennifer performed her new single Mirate for the audience at the ceremony in Miami, Florida, she went on: 'I think it's one of the best albums I've made in a long time and I'm super proud of it.
'It's an emotional song. A lot of the songs on the album are like that, even the up-tempo ones have like this beautiful lyrical content ... about love and life.'
Despite being out on a number of public outings together A-Rod had given the Bill board bash a miss - despite the beauty bagging two coveted awards on the night.
Jennifer Explaining he would be joining her for celebrations afterwards however, she confirmed: 'He's actually working in Connecticut but he will be here later.'
