NIGERIAN PASTOR WITH RCCG WHO MURDERED HIS WIFE BY STABBING HER 76 TIMES BEGS FOR PARDON (THIS PASTO

The monster pastor killed his banker wife on June 24, 2011, and was given a death sentence

Nigerian pastor identified as Akolade Arowolo has pleaded for mercy

Akolade Arowolo, a Nigerian pastor, who murdered Titilayo, his wife, sought pardon under the Lagos state Prerogative on Mercy conferred on the governor, claiming they are reformed and should be pardoned.

Akolade who was accused of allegedly stabbing his wife, Titilayo 76 times at their residence in Lagos insisted during sentencing said he loved his wife and did not kill his wife saying he and the deceased kissed and had sex for two hours on the day she died, which happened to be his birthday.

He is now pleading for pardon along with 73 other inmates, stressing that they are all remorseful

Akolade was sentenced to death by an Ikeja high court three years ago following a guilty verdict of his wife’s murder on June 24, 2011, he was seen in prison, pleading that he needs another chance to right his wrongs.

His pleading came as the Committee on Prerogative on Mercy said that the state will not fail to exercise its prerogative on prisoners, who proved to be reformed.

Arowolo was among 74 prisoners called out by the committee, led by Professor Oyelowo Oyewo, set up by the governor to review their applications.

The committee was on a fact-finding visit to the prisons to have first hand information from the inmates that are eligible for mercy and pardon.

Akolade Arowolo, who opted to delivered a remark on behalf of his fellow inmates, pleaded for mercy, stressing that they are all reformed and have learned from their mistakes.

Chairman of the committee, Oyelowo, said the governor will act on the committee’s recommendations based on the rules and guidelines set by law for the committee to conduct its work.

My opinion: How can this monster pastor lied that he is reformed, within three years of his sentencing, he is so far from being reformed.

His jail room key should be thrown in the bin forever so he won't get out and kill other women.

Some of the "so called" high profile Nigerian pastors are hypocrites who don't practice what they preach to their church members.

Most of them are plagued by one scandal after another, I believe the Federal Government should start taxing the big churches in Nigeria.
