WATCH: PRINCE WILLIAM AND LADY GAGA CHAT OVER FACETIME ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH FOR THE HEADS TOGETHER CA

Prince William and Lady Gaga join forces and spoke over FaceTime to raise awareness of mental health and the importance of opening up.

In a new clip released this morning Prince William and the pop star took part in the video call in which they discussed how opening up and talking about mental health was vital to break the stigma which still surrounds these issues.

Prince William is seen on his laptop in a room at Kensington Palace while Lady Gaga can be seen talking to the Royal from her kitchen in Los Angeles.

They both discussed a series of films which have been released as part of the Heads Together #oktosay campaign in which people from all walks of life disscuss their mental health challenges.

Lady Gaga praised them for the "beautiful stories" they told.

Lady Gaga opened up about being unhappy at-times in the morning when she wakes up, and when she looked around her with all the things she has been blessed with and still cannot understand why she is sad.

The Duke of Cambridge and Lady Gaga arranged in the video to meet in the UK in October to discuss how they can work together to do more to fight the mental health stigma, with Lady Gaga saying: "We have to make the strongest, most relentless attempt we can to normalise mental health issues."
