ARSENAL STAR ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN CLAIMS HIS TEAMMATES HAVE NOT GIVING THEIR ALL IN RECENT WEEKS
ALEX Oxlade-Chamberlain claimed that Arsenal players have not been giving their all.
Alex looked more relieved than anyone after the game against Middlesbrough.
Oxlade-Chamberlain blamed himself and his team-mates for their weak performances in recent weeks.
Alex said: “What we’ve done previously has not been good enough.
“It’s a massive honour to play for Arsenal and you have to give it 100 per cent, week in week out.
Alexis Sanchez scored the first goal for Arsenal against Middlesbrough.
Mesut Ozil scored the second goal to hand Arsenal three points
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, claims Arsenal players were not giving 100 percent in recent weeks.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger changed his tactics to play three at the back against Middlesbrough
Arsene Wenger said: "It is the first time in 20 years [playing three at the back] – that shows you that even at my age you can change.
“Sometimes when your team lacks confidence, something new helps them believe and focus.
“The fact we conceded three at West Brom and three at Palace, I feel it was needed.
“I felt we were recently a bit vulnerable defensively.
“I wanted a bit more reassurance to the team.
“It worked well in the first half. We were solid.
“In the second half one or two times we could have been more dominant in the air.”
Last night's win move Arsenal above Everton into sixth.
But Arsenal remain seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, though with a game in hand.

My opinion: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is right, so whenever Arsenal supporters are calling for Arsene Wenger to be sacked, the players should lose 10% of their salaries as well for not giving it their all.
