MEL B GRANTED RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST "ABUSIVE AND VIOLENT" HUSBAND STEPHEN BELAFONTE AS
Mel B was granted a restraining order against her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, after filing court papers claiming he had emotionally and physically abused her, alleging he beat her, got their nanny pregnant and forced her to take part in threesomes throughout their ten year marriage.
The 41-year-old former Spice Girl made a list of explosive and disturbing claims in her court declaration which forces Stephen to stay away from her and her three children.
The catalogue of historic allegations of abuse listed by TMZ include Belafonte 'punching' and 'choking' Mel, 'splitting her lip' and 'pushing her down on a carpet'.
The British singer, 41, said her husband, TV producer Stephen Belafonte, had destroyed her self esteem, threatening to leak a sex tape to the media if she left him, according to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court to support her request for a restraining order.
The request was granted on Monday and a full hearing was scheduled on April 24.Representatives for Brown did not immediately return requests for comment on Tuesday.

Melanie Brown, known as "Scary Spice" in the 1990s Spice Girl group, filed for divorce last month in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple married in 2007 and have a five year-old daughter. Brown has two other children from previous relationships.
Stephen Belafonte told celebrity website TMZ in an interview on Monday, "I am shocked at those allegations... I think someone is trying to set me up to look like a bad guy."
Fans were worried with Mel B's appearance on the X Factor back in 2014, with Belafonte taking to Twitter to deny he was a 'wife beater'
In the court documents, Brown detailed incidents dating back to 2007, when she claimed Belafonte slammed her onto the floor and began choking her on the night of her finale for the TV show "Dancing with the Stars."
In 2012, she said a jealous Belafonte punched her in the face and split her lip as she was about to tape a segment with R&B singer Usher for the TV show "The X Factor," according to the court documents.
The former Spice Girl included photographs of herself in the filing, including a couple from her appearance on "The X Factor" with bruises on her arms and face.
Brown said in the documents that she tried to leave Belafonte many times but he "threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way ... destroy my career and take my kids from me."
Belafonte is also alleged to have shown his wife little sympathy as her beloved father Martin lost his battle with cancer.
TMZ claim the film producer allegedly told her to 'Suck it up. If he's going to die, he's going to die.'
The U.S website also repeats claims that things turned violent in the marriage, despite previous denials from both camps.

In one incident, the papers allege: 'Stephen placed both of his hands around her neck, began choking her and slammed her down onto the hardwood floors' while she was preparing for U.S. talent show Dancing With The Stars.
It is reported that some friends and family members had asked Mel about her injuries and offered to call the police on her behalf, she begged them not to as she feared for her own life and theirs if Belafonte were to find out.
In the documents, Mel claims that the abuse became part of a 'pattern'. When she became successful, Stephen 'would beat me down to let me know he was in charge.'
She also alleges Belafonte 'punched her and split her lip' after becoming jealous while she filmed a segment with Usher for the X Factor back in 2012.
After asked her husband how she could appear on television with the obvious injury, Belafonte allegedly told her 'she should have thought of that before deciding to flirt with and f*** Usher.'
It is also reported that, Belafonte 'punched' Mel and 'pushed her down on a carpet' the day before she and the Spice Girls performed at the Olympic closing ceremony.
Mel B alleges her injuries were so severe her skin was burned from the carpet, adding that she was then forced by her estranged husband to 'tweet that she injured herself by running in heels.'
Mel who was emotionally and physically exhausted reveals she overdosed on a bottle of Aspirin back in 2014.
Disturbingly, Belafonte allegedly stopped her from calling the emergency services, with Mel stating he locked her in the bedroom and told her to 'die b***h.'

However the singer claims Belafonte was supportive and 'rushed to help her in every way' in the months following their marriage.
But she admits to being 'emotionally weak' as her engagement and subsequent wedding took place shortly after the birth of second daughter Angel, conceived during a brief relationship with Hollywood star Eddie Murphy.
'At the time, I was vulnerable. I was giving birth as a single mother, my self-esteem was very low, and my hormones were out of balance due to the pregnancy,' she claims.

Even with all her money and fame she couldn't escape from her alleged wife beater husband, She must have been hypnotised with fear.
It's good Mel B finally summoned the courage to divorce him shortly after the death of her dad.
