TOTTENHAM 3 HULL 0: CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN STAR OF THE MATCH SEES SPURS PAST 10-MAN HULL IN EMPHATIC WIN
Christian Eriksen has found his lucky goal -scoring boots-scoring boots recently – he has scored five goals in his last five matches.
TOM HUDDLESTONE, Jake Livermore and Michael Dawson all started on this return to their old stomping ground – while Ryan Mason was on the bench.
Livermore should have came away with goal – but for the fine goalkeeping of Hugo Lloris and last-ditch blocks from Danny Rose and Kyle Walker.
Eriksen scored his first goal with a measured strike in the 14th minute, assisted by Danny Rose, and then the other full-back Kyle Walker positioned the ball for his second in the 63rd minute.
His free-kick from 30 yards was parried onto the post and out by Hull keeper David Marshall, but only back to Victor Wanyama who smashed home to add some gloss to a solid night's work for the London side.
