Donald Trump tore into illegal immigrants during his speech last night in Arizona
Trump told a cheering crowd in Phoenix Arizona: "We will build a great wall along the southern border. And Mexico will pay for the wall. One hundred per cent.
"They don't know it yet, but they're going to pay for it.
The president of Mexico Enrique Pena Nieto, immediately rebuked Trump and branded him a "threat" to his country following their frosty meeting
Enrique Pena Nieto tweeted: "At the beginning of the conversation with Donald Trump I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall."
Hillary Clinton the Democratic candidate said it showed that Mr Trump "lied" following president Enrique's tweet.
Clinton tweeted: " Trump just failed his first foreing test. Diplomacy isn't as easy as it looks."
Mr Pena Nieta was criticized at home after inviting Donald Trump to visit after he had called Mexicans "rapist and criminals" while he was campaigning for the Republican nomination.
Trump in his speech says he wants "extreme vetting" of immigrants applying to live in the US with an ideological test to ensure they share "American values."
He added: "You can't just smuggle in, hunker down and wait to be legalized. Those days are over."
Donald Trump plans to set up a "special deportation force" and he warned 11 million undocumented immigrants they could be kicked out.
Trump said he plans to block funding for sanctuary cities and ensure that other countries take their people back when the US orders them to be deported.
My opinion- Donald Trump's speech last night was loaded with bigotry. He painted the picture of illegal immigrants as if they are all criminals who should be deported, also saying "dreamers" would be deported and not welcome into the US.
And only skilled professionals would be welcome into the US.
Trump is a bigot who looked down at hardworking illegal immigrants who are doing ordinary menial jobs that most Americans won't do.
